CONSEQUENCES AFTER THE “GOTA FRIA” STORM
Four out of five of the almost 22,000 companies in the Vega Baja region have been affected by the ravages of the “gota fria” rainstorms, according to data from the Valencian Community Business Confederation (CEV), which also highlighted that virtually all of the industrial estates and 80 percent of the 21,900 companies registered in the Vega Baja (more than 8,600 in Orihuela) have suffered damage of some kind due to storm “DANA”.
Only in the Agricultural sector, it is estimated that direct damages exceed 100 million euros, to which we must add indirect losses to other companies that, without having suffered damage, will suffer the knock-on effects due to the decline in the local economy in almost twenty municipalities affected in the Vega Baja region.
QUIMICA 21, S.L. is one of those affected companies and remains determined to activating and realising the projects launched before the consequences of this severe storm, with unwavering commitment to our customers, who are always at the heart of our business.
Our work goes on, and we continue to be at the forefront of the firefighting sector.
