VOCATIONAL TRAINING MODULES IN FIRE SAFETY
The Intermediate and Advanced Vocational Training Modules for the Diploma of Technician and Coordinator in Civil Protection and Emergencies, will soon be more accessible.
In fact, the Community of Madrid will be providing this level of training for up to 240 students who can already sign up for this course in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Multiple career opportunities arise from this new module: those who complete the training will be qualified to work in the firefighting and fire prevention sector, as well as responding to contingencies in natural and rural areas, including the field of Civil Protection and in the emergency response and fire departments of public services (state, regional and local).
Furthermore, diploma holders will be able to carry out their activities as public administration employees or in private companies engaged in fire prevention and extinguishing duties, and in the fire prevention departments of industrial production, manufacturing and warehouse facilities handling hazardous substances throughout the country.
Hopefully, this new professional training initiative will soon be available as an option in other Autonomous Communities.
